The End Of Non-Duality?
This is a controversial video and while it begins with how I used to work it ends up questioning the validity of non-duality itself. Is the brain dreaming no matter what? After reading Odeh Turjman's book Living Without A Self and recognising the exact same experience, as many in the non-duality community will recognise, I was then astonished by one massive difference . . . . he ran it solely through the lens of neuroscience. His scientific papers and book are a valuable asset. But it is up to viewers to take a look for themselves.
I should add that while I hint it could be an illness it is not an illness. Rather, a natural, ordinary way to see . . . unfettered by an aspect of mind. If anything this doesn't necessarily undermine what radical non-dualists are saying . . . rather . . . it is the last taboo. It pulls the rug out from under that sense that can build up of a dropped me as being the goal. It pulls the rug out from any idea that radical non-duality is THE ANSWER. What answer is there? There is no answer. Therein lies the beauty.
The earlier video I mention in this video is The Best of Both Types of Non-Duality, ( • Best Of Both Types Of Non Duality ) which incidentally also looks at non-duality partly through the lens of neuroscience and why someone asked if I knew of Odeh's Turjman's work. I don't think he has a website, you'll need to search for his book Living Without A Self.
